Administrative Assistant/Church Treasurer
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/CHURCH TREASURER Kenova United Methodist Church is seeking an experienced administrative assistant and church treasurer. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain and secure confidential financial information. It is expected that the ideal candidate will work full time hours (40 hours) Monday through Friday with set hours for reception, administrative support and operating telephone systems at the church. Some evening hours will be expected for church meetings. A full benefits package is available for the employee only. Insurance premiums are paid by the church and considered to be part of the total compensation package. Two weeks of paid vacation with increased time based on years of service. A high school diploma or equivalency is required. Two-year business degree or 5-10 years work experience is preferred. Knowledge and/or the ability to learn computer systems, including church management and financial programs, is required.
